When you are given a gift on your birthday, how often do you like it and how long do you keep it? It seems like there is always a holiday around the corner for which you need to be shopping. Consider giving responsably. For example one of our team was born as the result of a C-section that likely saved her and her mother's life. One year for Mother's Day, she contributed money in her mother's name to an international organization that provides maternal care, including C-sections, for women in developing countries. She gave her mom a card with the certificate inside. Years later, it is still one of the most meaningful gifts she ever received.
